Welcome

The Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE) provides accreditation to Continuing Medical Education (CME) providers (including Member Societies of the European Cancer Organisation) for the benefit of participants receiving education in oncology. Accreditation by ACOE provides CME credits to participating delegates, recognising the high quality of the education delivered.

For Distance Learning (which includes online educational events, webinars, presentations, e-learning material, webcasts, blended learning and hybrid physical/ virtual events), ACOE provides this accreditation directly to CME providers after receiving applications through this website and having been reviewed by ACOE Councillors.

For accreditation of the live educational events (education only provided in a physical/ face to face setting), ACOE works in collaboration with UEMS in the second part of an agreed process. ACOE is one of the four of the European Specialty Accreditation Boards (ESABs) recognised by UEMS. Applications for live educational events should be made to UEMS here.
