Falcon Workshop on Head and Neck Cancer

The delimitation of volumes in patients with head and neck tumors is an important task that has undergone notable modifications over the past few years. It is essential to be rigorous during the delimitation process with the intention of maximizing loco-regional control while limiting treatment-related effects. In this context, the HN workshop will focus mostly on the target volume quality delimitation (regarding anatomical and geometrical concepts) based on the most recent clinical evidence. Additionally, basic aspects regarding organs at risk delineation will also be described. This course is directed to any radiation oncologist or radiation technicians aiming to improve in this field.
