The European Society of Pathology (ESP) has been successfully organising for several years the ESP Pathology Progress Test (PPT). This is a self-assessment tool for pathology residents that are preparing for their board examination. It is also useful for board certified Pathologists who wish to assess their knowledge. The PPT consists of 120 multiple choice questions, each with four possible answers, one of which is the correct one. The questions cover the whole field of modern Human Pathology, with an emphasis on cancer. The PPT is held online only via the ESP Education Platform
