Palliative Care and Radiotherapy

This is a 3 days hybrid course focused on the use of radiotherapy in the palliative care of cancer patients. It covers the principles of palliation, pain management, and symptom control, while exploring how radiotherapy can relieve symptoms in cases such as bone pain, brain metastases, spinal cord compression, and advanced lung or liver cancer. Designed for radiation oncologists and related professionals, the course blends lectures, case discussions, and interactive sessions to help participants deliver evidence-based, patient-centered palliative care.
