Falcon 2024 Online Course – Prostate Cancer; Post-Op Setting

Radical prostatectomy represents one of the curative alternatives to treat prostate cancer. Unfortunately, up to 50 % of patients might experience a relapse after surgery and could require radiotherapy to the prostate bed as salvage treatment. Post-operative RT is subjected to various controversies regarding target volume definition, dose prescription and fractionation. The post-operative prostate online workshop is case-based comprehensive course. During the workshop indications and contouring guidelines for postoperative patients will be discussed. Participants will be invited to contour a real case; their volumes will be compared with the teacher´s contours giving them the opportunity to discuss the differences and learn from discrepancies. The goal of this workshop is to reduce volume definition variability to achieve maximum loco-regional control while avoiding unnecessary side effects that will affect the quality of life of patients.
