This series of webinars is an Online Educational Programme developed by the EYSAC (ESSO Young Surgeons Alumni Club) Research Academy, which focuses on the scientific needs and career development of young surgical oncologists and academic surgeons. It aims at inspiring and empowering young surgeons to be fully engaged in collaborative cancer research. The webinar series focuses on Grant Application is composed of 2 webinars: On 17th January 6pm-7pm CET : “Grant Application Writing: tips and tricks” by Prof. Wim Ceelen from Ghent University Hospital, Belgium. And on 31st January 5pm-7pm CET: “Patient Perspectives on the clinical trial development and research grant applications” by Ms. Lydie Meheus from Managing Director of the Anticancer Fund, Brussels, Belgium & “Harnessing academic and industry partnership for international collaborative projects” by Prof. Martine Piccart from Institute Jules Bordet and Breast International Group, Brussels, Belgium. The ideal participants are trainees, registrars, consultants of surgical oncology and Medical students.
